Who doesn't love french toast?! We are taking this family favorite and adding a patriotic spin to your classic french toast!
1/4 cup milk
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tbsp sugar
8 slices whole wheat bread
1 tbsp butter
Combine eggs, milk, cinnamon and sugar in a blender. Pulse until combined.
Transfer to a shallow dish. Soak bread in egg mixture.
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Place eggs soaked bread on to hot skillet and cook for about 2 min each side or until lightly browned.
Transfer to a plate and top with desires toppings. If desired use a cookie cutter to cut fun shapes for kids.
